Product Details
Designed for hospitality and food preparation environments, this all-in-one Evolution LifeVac & Catering First Aid Point is a specialised safety solution designed for hospitality environments and workplaces with food preparation areas. It provides a centralised and easily accessible first aid station to support both general workplace emergencies and choking incidents.
In addition to supplying essential first aid equipment for routine injuries, the unit includes a dedicated anti-choking device to support emergency response when a person’s airway is obstructed. This combination helps ensure that staff are equipped to respond promptly and effectively to a wide range of incidents commonly encountered in catering and hospitality settings.
Key Benefits
Contains a British Standard catering first aid kit – this kit contains all the supplies needed to provide general first aid in food preparation areas, including items such as blue plasters.
Includes a LifeVac Device – the LifeVac kit allows staff and visitors to the location access to a life-saving piece of equipment in the event of choking.
Interlocking, quick release brackets – wall-mountable, interlocking brackets not only allow the kits to be immediately visible and easily accessible but also allow your customers to customise and reconfigure the first aid points to suit the space available.
Photoluminescent headers and bracket labels – improve visibility and readiness by ensuring first aid points remain easy to locate in low-light conditions and by helping staff quickly identify and replace any missing kits.
MHRA Certified – this anti-choking device is fully compliant with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency’s safety and quality standards for peace of mind.
Supplied in Evolution cases – these durable, lightweight cases make it easy to transport the kits to different locations within the workplace.
Enables rapid, confident emergency response – with the LifeVac, for choking incidents, and a catering first aid kit for cuts, burns, sprains, and other common injuries.
Cost-effective risk management solution – this combination offers an affordable way to protect employees, visitors, and customers, while reducing potential legal claims and reputational damage.
Suitable for all UK workplaces – ideal for schools, restaurants, care homes, retail environments, and industrial sites where food is served, providing versatile safety coverage.
Why Every Catering Environment Should Have a LifeVac Device
In catering and hospitality settings, the risk of choking is ever-present. Whether it’s a customer enjoying a meal, a staff member tasting food, or someone quickly eating during a busy shift, choking can happen suddenly and without warning.
Choking remains one of the leading causes of accidental death in the UK, particularly among young children and adults over 65. Brain damage can begin within six minutes of oxygen deprivation, and death can occur in under ten. With ambulance response times aiming to be within eight minutes, every second counts.
Equipping a kitchen, restaurant, or café with a LifeVac device, alongside a standard first aid kit, provides an essential safeguard for both staff and guests.
