Product Details
When an emergency strikes, you need a first aid kit that’s fast, reliable, and fully compliant with UK safety standards. This First Response First Aid Kit (Small), British Standard Compliant is designed specifically for small and medium workplaces, giving you peace of mind that your business is covered when it matters most.
Key Benefits
British Standard Compliant – fully compliant with BS8599 1, this kit helps meet legal obligations under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations and reflects modern workplace first aid expectations.
Fast, organised access – the kit opens fully and flat, letting responders see all contents instantly. Elastic loops, labelled packs, and compartmented layout mean no fumbling under pressure.
Built for indoor and outdoor environments – encased in a water resistant, durable nylon shell, it protects your supplies from splashes, damp conditions, or outdoor use, so everything inside stays dry and ready.
Easy to refill and maintain – with clear labelling and a logical layout, you’ll immediately see which items are used or missing during checks. This makes restocking faster and prevents mistakes in replenishment.
Compact design – though smaller in size, it includes essential items for common workplace injuries (dressings, bandages, burn pads, foil blankets, gloves, and more), so it's ready for cuts, scrapes, burns, or shocks.
Portable when needed – lightweight and equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap, it’s ideal for responding across rooms, floors, or zones, rather than being anchored to one fixed point.
What Does British Standard Compliant Mean?
By purchasing a first aid kit that complies with BS8599-1 you're meeting a nationally recognised standard for workplace first aid provision. These kits are designed to deliver a consistent, high-quality level of care aligned with UK health and safety regulations.
The contents and size of BS8599-1 kits are based on workplace risk assessments that consider both the number of employees and the nature of workplace hazards.
This Small kit is typically recommended for workplaces with:
1–25 employees in low-hazard environments.
1–5 employees in higher-risk.
Easily Portable
The bag for this kit comes with a comfortable, adjustable shoulder strap, perfect for transporting to the scene of the accident. Whether it is required during an emergency evacuation, down a warehouse aisle or for an incident happening on the other side of the office, this first aid bag ensures that the supplies can be carried to where they are needed.
Inside, elasticated loops keep supplies securely in place while in transit, preventing items from shifting or spilling. When you arrive at the incident, everything will have stayed organised and quickly accessible, so that you’re ready to act without delay.
