AED posters and signs help make your defibrillator highly visible and easy to locate in an emergency. They clearly indicate the AED’s location and provide simple guidance to inform staff and visitors on how to use it, increasing confidence and readiness during a cardiac incident. By drawing attention and educating users, these signs ensure faster response times and improve overall safety.
All workplaces with 5 or more people onsite require an AED
In April 2026, the British Standards Institution published its latest guidance (BS 8599-1:2019+A1:2026) outlining workplace requirements for British Standard AED compliance. Defibrillators need to be clearly displayed within a cabinet or wall-mounted and accessible within two minutes from all areas of a workplace. They should also be made available to the public where possible.
