NEW BRITISH STANDARD FOR AEDs:

All workplaces with 5 or more people onsite require an AED
In April 2026, the British Standards Institution published its latest guidance (BS 8599-1:2019+A1:2026) outlining workplace requirements for British Standard AED compliance. Defibrillators need to be clearly displayed within a cabinet or wall-mounted and accessible within two minutes from all areas of a workplace. They should also be made available to the public where possible.
