Evolution Antimicrobial First Aid Kits
The Evolution Antimicrobial range is a new series of first aid cases from Safety First Aid impregnated with SteriTouch®. It is designed to reduce the growth of harmful organisms such as bacteria, mould and fungi on the surface of the case, shelves and wall bracket.
The unique technology used in the Evolution Antimicrobial range means that these first aid cases are ideal for settings where it is essential that hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level such as medical and catering environments.
The antimicrobial properties of the cases also make them perfect for helping to reduce the spread of bacteria in schools and workplaces.
The Evolution Antimicrobial range works by adding the SteriTouch® masterbatch additive to the injection mould during the manufacture of the cases. This additive provides the case with anti-bacterial properties that are effective against a wide range of organisms including bacteria such as MRSA, E-Coli, Salmonella Enteritidis and Listeria by utilising the naturalsterilising properties of silver.
The antimicrobial additive used in the manufacture of the cases has EFSA, EPA and FDAregistration and is notified on the European Biocidal Products Directive.
